weedy lot
yesterday’s memories
on the far side
of day
worn-out shoes
loons on water
drifting into summer
moonrise
fingers
such strange appendages
magnolia blossoms
lightning bugs
fire in the sky
night asking for mercy
wood smoke
just like that
summer’s gone
